it's crazy, isn't it? If you even just spend 2 minutes and think about it rationally, there's simply nothing that would make you think "what a great idea!"
the short (and sad) answer is that right-wing populism has been a massive problem here in Europe and some #### papers like the Sun have spent years brainwashing the people in England. And for the politicians it's been simply political warfare and party over everything else.
