They're the no good rich people who ripped the Rams away from St. Louis (after helping to get them moved from Los Angeles to St. Louis in the first place).
Stan Kroenke's wife, Ann, is Sam Walton's niece. Her father co-founded Walmart with his brother.
When Stan acquired majority ownership of the Rams, the NFL required him to divest his majority ownership of the Nuggets and Avalanche. As a result, he transferred the ownership to Ann.
