It's fun -- there's a deceptive amount of depth and strategy to it. Great characters, cool stages that actually alter your strategies, awesome music. Single player content is definitely pretty light, if you aren't planning to play online I don't think it would be worth it. It's a classic first pass on a new IP -- it's fun, mechanically sound, and definitely solid, but would really act as a base for a
really good sequel.
I will say something I like about it is that it plays differently than any game you've ever played before. I admire when a game comes in with a really fresh idea and executes on it really well.
