Anyway, are you saying that the pedigree is useless in determining a situation? Then why do people consider your past work experience when you apply for a job, even if that past experience might not be fully related to the thing you are applying for?
Elliott's tenure in St. Louis was one of the most successful, stats-wise, in league history. You cannot fault Treliving whatsoever for bringing in this guy and barely paying anything for him. It was up to Elliott to perform at that point.
