I wrote this in the PGT. I thought he actually had a few shifts where he looked really good. He carried the puck into the zone, found open ice, evaded checks. He then passed it directly to a Sharks player.
But I think it could be a step in the right direction. Getting more comfortable with the puck seems to be key.
I agree he's been poor and I also agree that it shouldn't be panic inducing.
