In his draft year in the J20 League, he scored 26 goals in 29 games, a dominant performance. In the last 20 years, only Anze Kopitar (with 28) has scored more in his draft season. He's playing in the SHL now, where players his age (20) don't play a lot, but he's still second in his age group in goals (8)-so as the numbers indicate, he's much more goal-scorer than playmaker. Heineman plays a pretty rambunctious game-he's gritty and physical, has a good motor, and plays a good 200-ft game. Real puck hound. He's got excellent straight-line speed, albeit not elite. Nice size, at 6'1".
