I'd say North Hill and Westbrook; any women's clothing store with the proprietors name as the same of the store (”Brenda's”) is a good bet. McLeod Mall and Deer Valley were of similar ilk.

But there is a relic of old malls in Calgary in a very specific spot. The starwell and hallway down in Chinook Centre to where the bowling alley entrance is.

Untouched since the 60s when it built it seems, original floors and walls and ceilings and fixtures; an overall ambience as to what Chinook was in the entire mall up until the late 80s.
