The NHL injury report has him officially listed as "day-to-day" with a lower body injury. The "day-to-day" part is meaningless of course, because every player injured since the playoffs began is listed as "day-to-day". When it comes to the lower vs. upper body label, is there any requirement for teams to report that accurately? If not, why even bother reporting at all.
