Raj Palace in Huntingon is the strangest place ever. They won't let you take out anything with a masala (spice mix) in it as they are so paranoid about people stealing their recipe.

There is a really good Pakistani resteraunt off 17thave and 52nd st. right in front of Pat's Place called Chilli's. It is mainly street food (bun kebob, Briyani, Karahi, Pakora, Gol Cappa ect) but it is amazing.

It's hard to call 1 resteraunt the best indian in the city because everyone does something better than the next guy (although some are best avoided).

The best Indian place was the Calgary Sweet House by Jack James but the family who owned it (since the 80s/90s) sold and now it is a south indian dosa place.
