Ya it's kind of ridiculous that you can be on extinction for 30 days earning fire tokens, get multiple advantages in the return comp, then get back in the game at final 6 with an idol. There should really have been a limit on how many tokens they could collect, either enough for advantages or an idol, not both.
It was also ridiculous that the players voted out near the end go to extinction with no tokens and no way to earn any, they shouldn't be at a major disadvantage to people who had been there for weeks. They should have let the voted out players keep their tokens instead of having to gift them then made it way harder to earn more. At the same time people still in the game should have had more opportunity to earn and something worthwhile to spend them on.
