Big congratulations to Ryan Leslie, who will be Sportsnet’s new host/reporter covering the Calgary Flames this season. A good guy (and a regular podcast guest of mine in the early days) who has put in his time over the years, this is a great opportunity and I have no doubt he’ll be excellent. Heck, we’ve already seen a sneak preview as last season he handled hosting duties on road games for Roger Millions. This year, it’s all him with Roger having retired from being a broadcaster. Ryan will move on from being a Flames employee upon the team’s return from China and their two-game exhibition series with Boston.
