And sure putting the whistles away goes both directions for Colorado and Vegas but one of those teams is rolling at a 41% PP in the playoffs and the other is at 14%.
So if you just decide to put away the whistles in the series you’re taking away part of what makes Colorado good, and giving an edge to Vegas.
And honestly if this is how they want the hockey in the playoffs to be played, and if they feel like this makes the games more entertaining, then just go back to calling it this way in the regular season too. Having one rule book for the regular season and one for the playoffs is a bit of a joke.
