You absolutely can, that is no problem at all.
Fun fact: I've got 11 years of taxes sitting in shoeboxes in my other office.
That stack of taxes....it taunts me....it mocks me.
So yeah, 2 years is nothing. Dont wait much longer though because some Government benefits depend on that information and they dont always back-pay.
