Differ in perspective on high danger chances and measuring by raw count. The low down dirty Oilers had several 10 bell chances and Smith more than answered the bell. Flames arguably had more chances but the Oilers were more dangerous.
In the real world, the Oilers scored a goal, but luckily the current NHL is not the real world.
I loved the effort, several notable plays including Gio being hard on McJesus and hitting him on the way past to knock the puck off his stick, also the play by Gio where McJesus dished and he got a stick on it. I liked Brodie giving McJesus a face massage when he went for the puck on Smith, and Hamonic’s reinforcement. Also Backlund with some good checking on McJ. You see the trend.
The GAS meter was reading in the positive.
And we agree, Bennett is (going to be) good

lol
in what 'real world' does pushing the goalie into the net constitute a real goal?
