Socks were a fail. Well somewhat. They're low, but lot now enough (as was suspected), but they're still pretty comfy so will definitely be worn around the house now. I've ordered new socks now that are really low ones.
Shoes haven't arrived yet.

I'm curious of two things.
1. Is it starch? Verifying if it's softer after the wash will give an idea.
2. Dryer balls. Would running your dryer on air fluff or air dry with dryer balls help pound that sucker into submission? (ie: accelerate break in of the pants)
