There are 4 teams with 2 guys in the top 25 Toronto, Pittsburgh, Tampa and Washington.
There are 6 teams that have a top-25 C that missed the playoffs. Edmonton, Florida, Buffalo, Vancouver and Chicago and Detroit.
14 of the 16 teams that made the playoffs had a top 25 C Nashville and Vegas did not and and they both lost in the first round.
Nashville has since obtained Duchense leaving Columbus with no top 25 C.
I personally would have had Ryan Johansen and possibly Dubois at least on the bubble, based on their more complete game.

It's very important. In fact, having top 20 players at any position is important to success.
I think it would be easy to make a case based on statistical evidence to push Monahan up in such rankings, but this is just like some dude's opinion. The reasons he uses to justify his ranks seem pretty arbitrary.
