I have dealt with Nintendo service once before with a drifty pro controller, and they were fast and easy to work with (and sent me a new controller quickly as a replacement). They are estimating a 2-3 week turnaround this time though, but I figured I would get it done now before the days get colder and darker and we'll be using it more.
Whatever you do don't get rid of it...its a hackable model
