I don't know - 8ET seems to be the best bet for a National audience for me.
If you go 9ET that is getting pretty late in the east and that game probably doesn't end until after Midnight.
5 PT / 8 ET seems like the most fair start time when you have an eastern team playing a western team.
Personally it's something I love about living out west - you get home from work around 5:30/6:00 and you already have sports on TV.
You don't realize how awesome it is until you visit the Eastern time zone and their is nothing but the local news on TV until about 7:30.
