You can buy a special controller with a chromecast ultra but its not necessary. Any pc will work with a mouse and keyboard or xbox/ps4 controller which was news to me as of a couple days ago.
Its true though you never own the games though. For me its playing well with no noticeable lag but the actual video stream isn't looking that great on PC.
If they can figure it out with a proper 4k stream this is gonna be a game changer. Playing the latest game at the highest settings with a 10 year old netbook with HDMI out. No updates, no downloading the game, hardware issues, ect.
