If there are Flames homers defending him because he's a Flame, I'm sure there are other fans willing to vilify him because he's a Flame as well. I also think there are even Flames fans who don't particularly like Wideman and are masking their dislike of him as an attempt to appear "fair and balanced" on this suspension.
