Full list
A few reminders:
Teams had a choice to protect 7 forwards + 3 defencemen + 1 goalie or 8 skaters + 1 goalie. Each team also had to expose 2 forwards, 1 d-man , and 1 goalie that met the minimum requirements set forth by the NHL.
The published protection lists won't include any side trades Vegas may have already agreed to. (e.g. a player that is left exposed may already be protected via a side deal with Vegas)
There is a trade/signing freeze currently in effect for the NHL. Only Vegas can make trades or sign players until Thursday.
Any trades that Vegas has made won't be made official until June 21st when Vegas' picks are revealed. Leaks may happen though, but they won't get confirmed until Wednesday.
Protection trades may still be agreed upon until Vegas has to submit its picks. Meaning that it is still possible for a team to protect extra players via a trade if they have not done so already.
With the protection lists now public, Team A can trade for a player Team B exposed via trade with Las Vegas.
Vegas has an exclusive RFA/UFA window until their picks must be submitted where they may sign any unprotected UFA/RFA. If they sign an unprotected UFA/RFA away from a team during this window, that will count as their expansion draft pick from the team.
Vegas must pick (or sign) one player off each of the 30 rosters, including a minimum of 14 forwards, nine defencemen and three goaltenders. At least 20 of these picks must be players who are under contract for the 2017-18 season.
The aggregate cap value of Vegas’s 30 picks must be 60-100 per cent of the prior season’s salary cap upper limit ($73 million).
