I can't speak for TorrentDay as I'm still pretty new there, but I have been a member of another elite site for ~12 years now. The difference between it and those sites you listed are night and day. I barely trust things you would get from TPB, it's either the wrong files or intentional malware 1/2 the time. You get crappy sources constantly vs elite sites that will nuke a torrent the moment they notice a problem (I've seen torrents nuked for having a minor audio sync problem that only lasts for a couple secs.) I have full trust in the torrents I dl and run them without hesitation knowing I won't be blowing up my system.
On top of that the speeds you get are insane. You pretty much need a private server to keep ratio going, so I have one, I get 10Gbps up and down to my server. That lets me dl entire HD movies in under a min. And most shows and new movies are up on elite sites before they make their way to the rest of the interwebz.
