The action furnace installer punctured the hose for my humidifier. Instead of saying anything, he put in a new valve on the supply line and closed it. So next winter I turned on my existing valve and the humidifier didn't work. I paid for a service call on the humidifier and ended up having to replace the humidifier supply lines.
