The Flames were first round favourites in 90, 91, 93, 94, 95 and 06. It is depressing to look back at those missed opportunities. Thinking about what if the Flames did not choke:
-1990: The Flames probably lose to the Oilers in the 2nd round.
-1991: A run to the finals is very possible. I still think the Pens win the Cup though.
-1993: Cup Champs! Calgary would have been a much tougher matchup for the Habs.
-1994: Cup Champs! Like above Calgary wold have been a tougher matchup for the Rangers.
-1995: I'd like to think a Cup run is possible by in reality if Trevor Kidd doesn't blow it in the first round he probably just blows it in the 2nd round.
-2006: Cup Champs! The 2nd round vs the Oilers would have been tough but get through that and the cup was theirs.
Edited: got 94 and 95 confused for some reason.
