Not I. I like Hunter Smith's size but to me his NHL skills just don't seem to be there. Good hands right around the net but that's the extent of it I see. Basically his upside is to play the screener role Colborne played for us last year, except minus Colborne's passing and skills in transition. Patrick Maroon comes to mind, except we don't have big-bodied cyclers like Getzlaf and Perry to make moving him up the lineup viable unless Janko and Poirier are those guys.
To be honest I see better middle 6er skillset in Austin Caroll.
