That's unfortunate. I am looking at another alternative for embedding tweets and if it works I would imagine it would work for YouTube as well.

Just noticed that start/end timestamps work on embedded youtube videos in a desktop browser. Syntax appears to be to append &start=<timestamp>&end=<timestamp> to the video identifier.
The example I saw was in the US Politics thread. The link there was:

Unfortunately, it seems to screw up the link in Tapatalk. In Tapatalk, only a hyperlink appears. Clicking it browses to <videolink>/?start=<timestamp>&end=<timestamp> without the
http://youtube.com/ prefix. So in the above example, tapatalk tries to redirect to
http://h-s2Vfsu0nU/&start=183&end=429
Hoping there's a way to get both working.
