I would say at the time of the Hull/Ramage deal there was a view (propagated by Sather) that that was a fleecing for the Flames (with rumors the Flames were going to send another young player- rumored to be Roberts- as a player 'to be named later' in the summer of 88 to complete the deal
its clear even though Hull was having a good year in 88-89 that there were some that didn't think St Louis was dealing well enough with Calgary
