Unethical tactics are part of the game and contribute to winning. This includes stalling after icings, diving, pushing your net off the posts, and slashing players in the wrists. The NHL doesn't do enough to deter these things, so teams are better off participating in them.
Scrums and facewashes after every whistle make the NHL a joke of a league. No other sport tolerates this much constant unsportsmanlike behaviour save for UFC and WWE.
Nets should be bigger. People are against it because they fear change.
