Fox has really elevated his standing though among people who have no dog in the fight. So while as Flames fans it’s quite possible we wouldn’t have rated him quite so highly vis a vis other D prospects at the time he was traded, his stock has risen and he has shown improvement. Flames fans’ objectivity in evaluating this naturally disappeared the day he was traded.

Yes, but they had him rated highly before the trade. I did not. He is not very big, and not very fast.
But for those that do like him, I can see him being ranked higher than Kylington now, sure. But Andersson, no. And Valimaki? Laughable.
It's okay that some people weren't very high on him - that doesn't mean they're necessarily biased. Just different opinions.
