Holy s###, went into the Northman expecting something different but not extraordinary (fan of the VVitch and Lighthouse), but didn't expect to enjoy my favorite film of the year so far.
That they used Iceland so prominently was just the icing on top. But wow, what a ride. I laughed, cringed and was fist pumping. Coolest final act I've seen in some time, as far as revenge plots go.
Was like a distant cousin of GOT with an Ari Aster tone to it.
