What is tough to make/find is an easy drinking lager or Pil session beer. Any one I buy or make you can have 2 or 3 but more than that starts to taste bad. I may try making a really light one this fall.
You could probably use rice to make a easy drinking lager or pilser but you will need cold temps to ferment it. A blond ale would be pretty simple and easy to ferment at room temp. A Hefeweizen yeast might be an interesting pick as well.
