I felt the same way about men's Canada/Czech the other day, with the 3 on 3. Was all excited for OT in that when I realized the format, but it was painful to watch. Never knew 3 on 3 could actually be boring.
Either it doesn't translate to the bigger ice as well, or we've been spoiled by watching the absolute best in the world doing it nightly in the NHL. Or both. Either way, it didn't work on the Olympic ice.
