What is the standard to wait before you bottle with priming sugar.

Instructions say 1 week or so.

Other references say when the bubbles are a minute or more apart.

Thoughts ?

As well...some of the mash mixed in with the beer before I added it to the carboy.

How do I clear up the cloudiness before bottling ?

Thanks.
Time. If you're not going to use any other clarifying agents all you can do is time. And time to bottling is really dependant on the style. If it's an IPA the fresher the better, and do so immediately after the dry hopping period (if any) is done. If it's a porter, stout, brown, those can sit longer. Keep in mind if you're using anything except a sealed vessel you're running the risk of oxidization which will make your beer turn faster. You should be ok as long as you don't disturb the bung or airlock and keep it in the dark/cool
