Brouwer looks better on the second line playing with Backlund, but when Frolik comes back, he will go back to being a very solid fourth liner.
I think freeing up money is the best way to look at Brouwer, regardless of how he is playing. And playing on the second line for a month might actually even out his value from the perspective of an aquiring team.
