Personally I'm thrilled by this news, I know I'm not the only person in the country/world itching to watch some live sport. And with how wacky Super Rugby has become in recent years with the crazy travel, weird conference and seeding rules, games on at odd hours of the night, a back to basics competition between NZ's top players should make for some good quality games. Games will be played at empty stadiums, but hopefully we continue to progress to the point where spectators are allowed a couple of months down the line.

I had gotten to the point that I would rather watch the provincial games (is it still called the Mitre Cup)?
The shine has definitely gone off Super Rugby, which is sad. There was a time is was the standard.
