Maybe only attempt to catch close pokemon like Rattata, Weedle, Pidgey.
It seems like certain pokemon, or lower CP pokemon, are less likely to move.
Which finger do you use to throw pokeballs?
I find that my throws are a lot more consistent when they're curved. I can easily get 10 curved great throws in a row. I'm not sure if I can get more that 5 in a row without curving them. Maybe it's easier to throw on my phone. I normally used my middle finger.
