Perhaps being in the position with people who care about cycling in Calgary will change his mentality.

I've spoken to him about bike lanes. I highly doubt anything short of his daughter getting run over while biking would change his mind. He has this fantasy idea that bikes only belong on pathways and maybe sidewalks, with a line painted on them. I'd love it if we had pathways that went everywhere I needed to go, but we don't.

I have no idea what good he is going to do no this committee.
