I don't think we are that far off. I do think we need to add a couple key players, absolutely! Some obvious improvements from last season shows we are trending in the right direction. In this case failure can be used as a measuring guide; We know we need better goaltending and that certain players didn't bring it all season, and that some players made progress while others not so much. Last season was one "significant" step and a learning curve. Now we just need to identify whats needed to take it to the next level.
Neal on the other hand shame on him, he got paid to take a spot, teased us all season then didn't show up for the dance.
