This might be bold to say but it’s certainly not an overstatement: McKean delivered the best performance on television this year.

I might put in an argument for David Thewlis' portrayal of VM Varga for Fargo. But he was nominated so it's a moot point.

I am just not sure how Jonathan Banks was put ahead of McKean this year, also considering this is likely McKean's last season.
