I'm perfectly fine with the story ending where it did with mystery it reminds me a bunch of Creepshow and Cats Eye but longer stories

I liked all the characters a lot and would just like to be around them more, maybe see them explore the alternate dimension more. There's definitely enough of a world there to warrant more exploration. At the same time, trying to make another season as good as this one would probably be easier starting over with a fresh story again. I could see either direction being successful. Actually, what would be amazing is a story in the same narrative universe, but following different characters and places and incidents... subtle enough that you aren't even aware at first that there is any connection. And then eventually (in later seasons) those stories intersecting with this season's stories and characters.
