Arbitrations have been nasty sometimes. But I think Treliving is all business and runs his arbitration arguments in a businesslike, dry fashion, that doesn't lend itself to the animosity from other ones. It's certainly possible to do a polite, respectful arb process. I've done it on all sorts of issues.
