Well and if Lukaku is getting that kind of bid, Kane is clearly worth a lot more. The reality is, he might have had a gentleman’s agreement (maybe not), but if there’s no bid that makes sense for the club, he’s got a 3 year contract.
It’ll be interesting to see how it plays out. City is the only club that could pay, realistically, and Kane probably wants the PL goal scoring record and to play in the World Cup next year. So, eventually someone has to cave.
