I don't understand this take. I played the original twice and I never do that unless I really, really enjoyed the game. I legitimately did not enjoy playing this one as I fully agree with one reviewer that aptly called it "Misery Porn". The game itself is very polished as are the production values but it wasn't fun and a chore to play for me. Even if you take out the story's bleak focus on how inherently bad humans are a lot of the gameplay is centered around moving from empty building to empty building searching for items, running into a few zombies and humans, rinse and repeat as there wasn't a lot of variety in the gameplay. If you are going to dismiss my opinion as stupid then I suppose I have to dismiss yours as stupid for liking it.
