Wouldn't be surprised if they were up there with their best years in the 40-45k range for attendance. The galleries around Wier and even more so for John Daly and Fred Couples resembled a PGA tour event. Probably a good 5k around Daly at times, it was crazy. It was a mad dash of thousands making decisions on whether to sit mid fairway and watch approaches or race up to greens to get a close spot.

I was there on Saturday - what a great event for the city! Spent most of the day following Daly, Couples and Harrington.
I heard that it's one of the best attended Champions Tour events.
