I didn't look through the thread so I apologize if this was asked.

The article said "April 18, seeking general damages of $200,000, special damages "to pay for housekeeping, yard work and hospital expenses" of $50,000, not to mention damages for loss of income and future loss of income of $10 million".

How much does an NHL referee/linesman make per year? I understand it is a claim so they are shooting for higher than what his salary and future salary would be but 10 million is crazy. He will be 50 years old at the start of next season. Let's say he were to referee 15 more years, even $200,000 per year would only be 3 M.
