For me, it's that Klimchuk looked better than Shinkaruk at camp last year and Foo looked decent in his NHL stint. I don't think Shinkaruk did much in his 14 games in the NHL. So I see it as the unknown upside of Klimchuk and Foo at the NHL level versus Shinkaruk not being good enough for the NHL.
You are right though, production levels are similar and the likelihood they end up similar players overall is possible.
