Fallacy of relative privation (also known as "appeal to worse problems" or "not as bad as") – dismissing an argument or complaint due to the existence of more important problems in the world.
Ie. “Burrows isn’t as bad as X”, “Burrows isn’t in the Klan”, “Burrows doesn’t beat his wife” as justification that he’s a good guy.
Being an ####### and not being in the KKK doesn’t make you less of an #######.
Burrows is one of my most hated players of all time. When I saw that clip of him and Kesler chirping Backes about his wife, it sealed it for me. The guy is the epitome of classless.
Won’t miss him, not surprised that Vancouver will.
