That kind of thing actually does happen quite a bit. Not necessarily fake precinct captains, but numerous reports on caucus night of Bernie supporters hanging out in other candidates' groups, trying to get them to shift over to Bernie in the even that they weren't going to be viable after the first ballot. Seems like underhanded stuff, although actually not against the rules, so I'm sure they would argue that it's just good strategy to deploy your caucus-goers in that fashion.

Just wait until you hear that in the general election, those people will literally knock on people's doors to get them to vote for their preferred candidate.
