Though that's where I think the game has improved over the years. The cheap plays and exploits are way less than they were 10 years ago and way way way less than 20 years ago.

I'm like that for every game though not just NHL. Playing online just doesn't appeal to me. The only games ive played online all year were Battlefield and Rainbow Six on PC, where I didn't have to pay extra to do it
