Man, this was a tough trade to make. Grant and I have been discussing this over the course of about the last month and it finally came to fruition today. I was really, really hesitant to do this but in the end, we now have a top-3 on defense sporting three of the 25 best defensemen in the league and a top-4 featuring four of the top-50.

Losing Perry stings. With the trades of Parise and now Perry, my winger depth is now significantly depleted, and I'll be looking to deal from a position of strength soon to strengthen it. Nielsen and Letestu are both available.
